Varongkorn Tienaprmpool & Supattra Kreaksakul, Patapian

This collection portrays objects inspired by the designers’ imaginary story about a woman who grew out of the curve of classical architecture. This collection integrates imaginative storytelling and contemporary interpretations of curve art with Thai arts and crafts under the concept of symmetrical curve shapes. The application of wickerwork in various materials, including thin bamboo strips and metal threads, creates patterns that reflect prosperity in different times and spaces and links people and stories with the use of naturally beautiful material truth.
