Panisa Khunprasert studied industrial design at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, before relocating to New York to complete a Master of Fine Arts degree in products of design. She worked as a designer for her family’s wooden-toy company while developing her own line of wooden fashion and interior accessories. Influenced by her family’s business, she focused on children’s learning and playing experiences for many of her earlier projects. Panisa presented her work at Tokyo Designer Week 2014, and many of her designs have since been distributed in trade fairs throughout Europe and Asia. A lover of fashion and lifestyle, Panisa is inspired by the art, nature and cultures she has encountered on her travels.
